“Finding Minnesota” at the Giant Museum in Blue Earth

Blue Earth’s Giant Museum will be featured on WCCO TV’s, “Finding Minnesota” February 27th & 28th. News Anchor Mike Binkley was in Blue Earth to interview Mr. Lowell Steen, who collected Green Giant and Little Sprout memorabilia for the pat 30 years and then donated it all to the Blue Earth Chamber of Commerce for a museum that the public could enjoy.

The Giant Museum is located in downtown Blue Earth and opened it’s doors two years ago. Since that time the thousands of visitors to the 60 foot Jolly Green Giant Statue, have also been able to enjoy a collection of promotional items, canning factory equipment, historical ads, and pictures of the Green Giant canning company and it’s employees, all displayed at the museum.

Look for the show to air this Sunday, February 27th during the 10:00 news and Monday, February 28th at approximately 5:45 a.m. and at 12:00 noon.
