2010 “GG” Awards

On Monday, January 17 2o11,  the Blue Earth Area Chamber of Commerce held their 70^th Annual Banquet, Meeting and Awards Ceremony. Part of the evening’s program consisted of the “GG” Awards. There were eight categories with three nominees in each. The lucky winner received a hand carved “GG” Award which the chamber commissioned local woodcarver, Bruce Ankeny, to design.

The winners in each category were:

Customer Service – Breen’s Hardware

Innovative Marketing –Juba’s Jabber

Brand Recognition – O/NE Realty

Donald Deskey or Curb Appeal – Gartzke’s Greenhouse

Web Design – BEVCOMM

Social Media/Networking – KBEW

Newsletter Print/Electronic – St. Luke’s Reflector

Best Special Event – Dikken’s Home for the Holidays

All those nominated and those that won have been doing an outstanding job in these areas. We commend them for their excellent business practices. The chamber hopes to continue the “GG” Awards in the years to come.
