Giant Museum Receives Grant

 
Thanks to an Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund grant, the Giant Museum in Blue Earth, will be able to start Phase 2 of the museum. Work on the expansion will begin immediately. Plans are to expand the museum for the purpose of displaying canning machinery in a factory type setting. Also on display will be items relating to an office, canteen and lab within the factory. Museum goers will be able to get a feel for what it was like to be in a canning factory in years past. Completion of the project is slated for June 15, 2010.
