Blue Earth Valley Quilters Meeting

Head to the next Blue Earth Valley Quilters meeting. There will be a presentation about the second block in the Eureka! block-of-the-month group, and The program will be presented by Susan Wilkinson, owner of Prairie Pride Quilts, which recently opened in Madelia.

Monday, November 19, 2018, at 7:00 pm in the Blue Earth Area High School Choir Room. (Please enter through Door V on the south side of the building)

After introductions, we will begin with show-and-tell, which is always an inspiring part of the meeting! . The quilt-along group starting on the “4 x 5 Quilt” has met – but there is still time for new members to join the group.

The Blue Earth Valley Quilters meet on the third Monday of each month (no meeting in July or December) under the umbrella of Blue Earth Area Community Education. Each meeting consists of a brief welcome and introductions, a quilt related demonstration, show and tell, a question and answer session and a few minutes to talk with other quilters. The Blue Earth Valley Quilters has been referred to as a guild without all the rules, a quilt discussion group, or a mini-class in quilting – it is open to everyone who enjoys quilts or quilting – quilters of all skill levels are welcome! Announcements and photos can be found on Facebook under the group name Blue Earth Valley Quilters. For more information contact Mike Ellingsen at 507.526.5808.
