BEA Reads “Wonder”

Wonder is the fourth book in our community reads initiative. We encourage you to read it and pass it on to a neighbor, co-worker, friend, relative, or stranger and then join us for one or more of the opportunities for discussion and growth at our local libraries.  This is a spare, warm, uplifting story that will have readers laughing one minute and wiping away tears the next. The book depicts life around August “Auggie” Pullman, who had a medical condition known as Treacher Collins Syndrome. Life for Auggie isn’t easy and it does not get any easier when the home schooled student goes to public school.
